Lead Restoration Technician (WTR / Water Certified + IICRC)
911 Restoration of Appleton – Oshkosh
Location: Oshkosh, WI (serving Oshkosh, Appleton, Menasha, Neenah, Fond du Lac + surrounding areas)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25–$32 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: On-call rotation for emergencies (nights/weekends as needed)

911 Restoration of Appleton – Oshkosh is a full-service property restoration company focused on giving customers a Fresh Start after water, fire, mold, or sewage damage. We’re known for fast response, professional service, and quality work done to IICRC standards.
Job Summary
We’re hiring a Lead Restoration Technician to lead water mitigation jobs in the field, manage technicians on-site, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to IICRC standards. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can run a job from start to finish and communicate clearly with customers and the team.
Pay & Benefits
  • $25–$32/hr (DOE)
  • PTO after 90 days

Required Certifications
  • IICRC WTR (Water Damage Restoration Technician) (or equivalent water certification)
  • IICRC certification (active/valid)
  • Valid Drivers Licence  (active/valid)

Responsibilities
  • Lead water mitigation projects from arrival through dry standard
  • Direct and support technicians/helpers on-site (assign tasks, ensure quality)
  • Set up, monitor, and break down drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, etc.)
  • Perform moisture mapping and job documentation (readings, photos, daily notes)
  • Communicate professionally with customers and provide clear updates
  • Maintain job site safety, cleanliness, and professional appearance
  • Coordinate with management/office on job status, materials, and scheduling
  • Participate in emergency response/on-call rotation

Qualifications
  • Restoration field experience (lead/crew lead experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of IICRC standards and water mitigation best practices
  • Reliable, organized, and able to make decisions on-site
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to lift/move equipment and work in challenging environments
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Preferred (Nice to Have)
  • Additional IICRC certifications (ASD, AMRT, FSRT, OCT, etc.)
  • Experience with insurance documentation platforms and job file compliance
  • Experience training/mentoring technicians
