Registered Nurse (RN)- Electrophysiology (EP) Lab,- Full Time Days

WORK LOCATION: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231
WORK HOURS: Full time Days, 4 10 hr rotating shifts (0700-1730). No weekends or holidays
EP DEPARTMENT HIGHLIGHTS:
• Great team environment with the ability to cross train to other CV areas.
• Busy procedural area servicing community and hospital patients.
• Procedures performed are cardiac implants and EP studies/ablations.
• 4 10 hr rotating shifts (0700-1730). No weekends or holidays
HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED
• Diploma of Nursing OR Associate degree
• BSN preferred.
• One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program required
• One year experience in electrophysiology (EP) lab; OR two years' experience in Emergency or Critical Care areas required
• Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Required
• RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required
• BCLS -Basic Cardiac Life Support-prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required
• ACLS -Advanced Cardiac Life Support-required within 90 days of hire

• The professional nurse exhibits understanding of basic human needs.
• The professional nurse demonstrates an appreciation of unique meanings by active listening and exemplifying a non-judgmental attitude
• The professional nurse demonstrates recognition and understanding of patient's affiliations.
