Weekend Housekeeper (Part-Time)

Location: Sun Harbor
Position: Weekend Housekeeper
Schedule: Part-Time, 7 AM - 3:30 PM (Weekends)
Pay Rate: $15 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Weekend Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper at Sun Harbor, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and staff. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned.

  • Completing specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments.

  • Cleaning and polishing furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating or cooling units, etc., in resident rooms and recreational areas.

  • Sanitizing bathroom fixtures and ensuring watermarks are removed.

  • Cleaning windows, mirrors, floors, carpets, walls, and ceilings.

  • Removing dirt, dust, grease, and other residues from surfaces using appropriate cleaning solutions.

  • Ensuring that work and cleaning schedules are followed closely.

  • Reporting all accidents and incidents to your supervisor immediately.

  • Coordinating daily housekeeping services with nursing services.

  • Adhering to all HIPAA requirements and established fire safety policies.

  • Following safety precautions when using equipment and supplies.

  • Maintaining work areas in a clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive manner.

  • Mixing chemicals, disinfectants, and cleaning solutions according to manufacturer’s instructions.

  • Reporting hazardous conditions or equipment to your supervisor.

  • Using personal protective equipment when handling infectious materials and hazardous wastes.
