Job Title: Visit Nurse – Hospice RN (Growth Opportunity)

Compensation: $40 – $52 per hour + mileage reimbursement

Location: Greater Twin Cities Metro Area – 21-county service area

Schedule: Part-Time Every Weekend or Every Other Weekend

Position Summary:
We’re seeking a skilled Hospice Visit Nurse (RN) who enjoys meaningful, independent field work and thrives on patient connection. This part-time opportunity is perfect for nurses looking for flexibility and purpose, with the ability to grow into full-time work as caseload increases.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide routine and PRN visits in homes, assisted living, and memory care settings
  • Deliver pain and symptom management, wound care, and clinical evaluations
  • Communicate compassionately with patients and families about the hospice journey
  • Coordinate with MDs, intake, chaplains, and the broader interdisciplinary team
  • Complete timely, accurate documentation in the EMR

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in Minnesota
  • Prior hospice experience highly preferred (oncology, palliative, or end-of-life med-surg experience also considered)
  • Strong communicator with high emotional intelligence
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
  • Comfortable with field-based, autonomous work
