Job description

Job Title: Travel Pharmacist โ€“ Outpatient / Infusion
Location: Hood River, OR
Type: Contract | 13 Weeks (First-Time Travelers Welcome)

Shift & Schedule:
Day Shift | 4x10 Hours | 7:00 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM | No Weekends | No On-Call
Block Scheduling Available

Pay Rate: $61 - $68/hour

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Travel Pharmacist โ€“ Outpatient / Infusion for an exciting Travel job in Hood River, OR.

Responsibilities

  • Dispense and verify outpatient infusion medications.

  • Ensure safe and accurate medication preparation and administration support.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and infusion teams to optimize patient care.

  • Monitor patient medication therapy, outcomes, and treatment effectiveness.

  • Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations, hospital policies, and safety standards.

  • Document pharmacy interventions and medication-related activities in Epic EMR.

  • Support safe and efficient medication workflows within outpatient infusion services.

  • Provide clinical pharmacy support and medication counseling when appropriate.

  • Ensure medication accuracy and quality throughout the dispensing process.

  • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and medication management activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Oregon Pharmacist License.

  • Outpatient infusion pharmacy experience.

  • Prior outpatient or infusion pharmacy experience.

  • Ability to manage patient ratios up to 1:20.

  • Epic EMR experience.

  • Strong clinical decision-making and patient safety skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a critical access hospital setting.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hospital or clinical pharmacy experience.

  • Previous experience in a critical access hospital environment.

  • Travel pharmacy experience.
