Job description

Fleetwood Post Acute is a 102-bed skilled nursing facility located in Easley, South Carolina, and just 15 minutes from the Greenville metro. Join our long-serving staff members (many have been with us over 10 years) and become one of the familiar faces dedicated to caring for our residents. We look forward to sharing our strong culture with you along with the following:
  • $16-18/ hr.
  • Full time position with a rotating weekend
  • Help with needed dietary aide hours as requested by facility
  • Next day pay (upon request)

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with facility menus and resident dietary needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
  • Coordinate with the Dietary Manager and Dietitian to accommodate therapeutic and texture-modified diets.
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and efficiency in the kitchen.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management and attention to detail during meal prep and service.
  • Lead and collaborate with dietary team members to promote a positive, team-oriented work environment.
  • Contribute creativity and input for menu planning and special events.
  • Fill in needed Dietary Aide hours as needed

Qualifications:
  • Culinary school education preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional cooking experience, preferably in healthcare, hospitality, or a high-volume kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (ServSafe certification a plus).
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of therapeutic diets and dietary restrictions preferred.
