About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Rockford, Illinois, 61104!

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care

Location

Rockford, IL | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Days | Onsite | Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in an intensive care / critical care unit setting
  • Monitor and manage CCU patients, ensuring timely assessment and intervention
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient status, interventions, and outcomes
  • Adhere to facility protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required
  • Demonstrated experience with CCU patients — must be clearly reflected on resume
  • Prior experience in a mid- to large-sized hospital setting
  • Must maintain a permanent address more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience managing complex, high-acuity critical care cases
  • Familiarity with critical care protocols and advanced monitoring equipment
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in fast-paced environments
