We're growing our Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) team and looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst I who is curious, analytical, and ready to build solutions that help protect people, support compliance, and improve environmental performance.
You'll work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to meaningful dashboards and analytics, and continue building your technical expertise in a supportive environment.Job Description:

📍Edmonton or Calgary |🕒Full-Time |📈Career Growth Opportunity

📍 What You'll Be Doing

  • Partner with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) and operations teams to understand reporting needs

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports tracking safety and environmental metrics (incidents, audits, inspections, compliance)

  • Support the development of data models to enable consistent and reliable reporting

  • Analyze and validate data from multiple systems to ensure accuracy and integrity

  • Identify trends and insights that support safer, more efficient operations

  • Apply data visualization best practices to clearly communicate insights

  • Collaborate with BI peers to continuously enhance reporting solutions

  • Maintain documentation and contribute to ongoing improvements

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, reporting, or data analysis

  • Hands-on experience with Power BI (or similar tools)

  • Strong understanding of data modeling fundamentals (relationships, star schema, measures, basic DAX)

  • Experience working with SQL and structured data

  • Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset

  • Ability to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • A passion for using data to drive safer, smarter business outcomes

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to EHS or operational data environments

  • Familiarity with safety metrics (e.g., TRIF, LTIF)

  • Experience building or supporting data models in Power BI

  • Understanding of compliance or regulatory reporting
