  • Assist with promotional campaigns, community outreach, referral initiatives, and special events.
  • Identify opportunities to upgrade members into higher-level memberships and Recovery Lounge services.

Member Experience and Retention
  • Build strong relationships with members and maintain a visible presence throughout the club.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to member questions, complaints, and service concerns.
  • Help resolve cancellation requests and identify appropriate retention solutions.
  • Monitor member feedback and recommend improvements to the General Manager.
  • Ensure employees consistently deliver a welcoming, knowledgeable, and professional experience.
  • Support awareness and utilization of the Recovery Lounge and other club amenities.

Club Operations
  • Complete opening, closing, and manager-on-duty responsibilities.
  • Conduct regular club walks to inspect cleanliness, safety, equipment, lighting, supplies, and overall presentation.
  • Coordinate with maintenance, housekeeping, vendors, and department leaders to resolve issues.
  • Ensure daily checklists, incident reports, inventory logs, and other operational records are completed accurately.
  • Assist with retail inventory, supply ordering, receiving, and loss prevention.
  • Help ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, emergency protocols, and applicable regulations.
  • Escalate equipment, facility, staffing, or member issues to the appropriate leader and follow through until resolved.

Financial and Administrative Support
  • Assist the General Manager with payroll review, scheduling, labor control, and expense management.
  • Monitor past-due accounts and support approved collection and member-contact procedures.
  • Help track key performance indicators, including membership growth, attrition, average membership revenue, lead conversion, retention, and ancillary revenue.
  • Protect confidential employee, member, and business information.
  • Prepare reports and provide updates on club performance as requested.

Qualifications
  • Two or more years of leadership experience in fitness, hospitality, retail, sales, or another customer-focused environment preferred.
  • Prior health-club management or membership-sales experience is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach employees and hold a team accountable.
  • Strong sales, customer-service, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Organized, dependable, and capable of managing several priorities at once.
  • Comfortable working with membership-management systems, CRM platforms, email, spreadsheets, and basic business reports.
  • CPR/AED certification required within the company's designated timeframe.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or degree preferred.

Schedule and Physical Requirements
  • Full-time position requiring a flexible schedule.
  • Must be available for a combination of opening, closing, weekend, and holiday shifts based on club needs.
  • Must be able to remain active and visible throughout the club for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds and assist with equipment or supply handling when necessary.
