Job description

Overview

Are you looking to be part of a great Maintenance Team? Otterbein is looking to add a dedicated and motivated Groundskeeper to our team!

Shift:  1st shift Candidates with experience and a willingness to be part of a great team are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Mows lawn using hand, power or riding lawnmower.
  • Trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls
  • Hand weed gardens and spread mulch.
  • Trim shrubs and low hanging branches.
  • Water plants and grass as needed.
  • Clean outside patio furniture as directed.
  • Assist with set up and tear down of tents, etc. for outdoor activities.
  • Performs any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Licensure/Certification:  Must have a valid Ohio driver's license and be insurable
  • Experience: Lawn care and landscaping experience required. Familiarity with irrigation systems, small-engine maintenance/repair preferred. Experience in maintenance department and prior experience in a health care facility preferred.
