Job description

Position Overview
Description:
This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career.
As a Production welder, you will be responsible for:
Maintain critical metals for the production process
Weld Iridium Crucibles to meet specifications
Cleaning metals using a media blaster
Pressing various metals to meet specs
Operation record keeping, maintaining accurate records of all processing steps on paper and in database
This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below.
You have good PC skills (MS Office software like Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
Following process MPI documentation and safety procedures
Experience of working in product oriented technical-industrial environment.
Ability to weld various metals; Iridium, platinum, aluminum.
Detail Orientated
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Experience with hand tools
Required skills to have for the success of this role
HS Degree
Ability to lift a minimum of 35Lbs
Must have welding experience
1-2 years would be preferable, especially working with Aluminum.
Set up and weld all types of materials and piping using appropriate equipment and processes. Perform all related operations such as acetylene cut, arc gouging, plasma cut, brazing and soldering. Preheat and stress relieve. Heat treat parts, tools and materials involving processes such as carbonizing, tempering, annealing and stress relieving. Prep, clean and stress metal surfaces by grit blasting peening. Chip, grind and clean weldments; preserve as required. Assembly diaphragms and parts as required. Perform NDT (Don-Destructive Testing).
