Job description

The Bartender role provides exceptional food and beverage service for our restaurant patrons, golf tournaments, meetings, and special events at the golf course. This role helps create a positive guest experience through attentive service, teamwork, and professionalism.
Requirements
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences
  • Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests
  • Accurately process orders and handle cash and POS transactions
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies
  • Check guest IDs and ensure compliance with all alcohol laws and regulations
  • Monitor guest consumption and act responsibly to ensure a safe environment
  • Collaborate with barbacks, servers, and management to keep service running smoothly
  • Open and/or close the bar as scheduled, including setup and breakdown
Qualifications:
  • Ensure compliance of operating guidelines as it relates to TIPS program, as well as operating within all State and Federal Laws, Rules and regulations relating to Alcohol, Cigarette and Tobacco Division
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law
  • Previous bartending experience preferred
  • Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills
  • Ability to stay calm and professional in a high-volume environment
