Job Description
The Retail Transformation Manager is a multi-unit field leadership role responsible for driving sales growth, operational excellence, leadership development, and transformational change across airport and resort retail locations.
This role partners with Store Managers and cross-functional teams to improve business performance, enhance customer experience, and ensure consistent execution of company standards. The successful candidate will serve as both an operational leader and training champion, delivering coaching, capability development, and business initiatives that drive measurable results.
Salary: $52,000 - 78,000 annually
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead sales, operational excellence, and transformational change initiatives across multiple airport and resort retail locations.
  • Partner with Store Managers to drive sales growth, profitability, customer experience, compliance, and overall business performance.
  • Deliver training, coaching, and leadership development programs that strengthen sales execution, operational consistency, and team capability.
  • Analyze business metrics, identify performance opportunities, and implement action plans to improve results and operational effectiveness.
  • Support underperforming locations, new store openings, remodels, leadership transitions, and other critical business initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, inventory controls, health and safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Commercial, Human Resources, Asset Protection, and Property Leadership to execute strategic priorities.
  • Conduct regular field visits to assess performance, reinforce standards, provide coaching, and support successful adoption of new programs and business initiatives.

Job Requirements
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in retail, hospitality, travel retail, airport operations, resort operations, or other high-volume customer-facing environments.
  • Proven multi-unit management experience with responsibility for sales, profitability, operations, compliance, and people leadership.
  • Demonstrated success in training, coaching, leadership development, and performance improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of retail KPIs, labor management, inventory control, shrink reduction, customer experience, and operational best practices.
  • Experience leading initiatives, projects, or transformational change programs.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and operational reporting tools.
  • Ability to travel extensively to support assigned locations and business priorities.

Travel Requirements
This role requires significant travel to airport and resort locations and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended field assignments based on business needs.
