About the role

Gartner is looking forwell-rounded software engineer to join the Gartner's Peer Insights Team. You will be part ofhighlymotivated agile team driven by innovation and collaboration. As part ofPeerInsights and Product Technology team, you will work on the high-performance web development environments usingcutting edgeweb technologies. You will work in a multi-cloud environment and use containerized pipelines for applications.

What you will do:

  • Develop high quality, simple, secure,innovativeand scalable technical solutions.

  • Assumeownership and take responsibility for successful delivery.

  • Comfortable working in a fast paced Agile/SCRUM environment.

  • Focus on Software quality and follow good software engineering practices

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's orMaster's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 3-4years of professional experience developing customer-facing web applications.

  • Experience in building and deploying complex, scalable web applications and services,demonstratedas a Full Stack Developer withproficiencyin Java, Spring (Spring Boot, Spring JPA), React, Next.js, Typescript

  • Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles, software architecture, and best practices.

  • Backend experience in buildingAPIs,working databases isrequired.

  • Experience with responsive design and building applications across multiple platforms.

  • Strong knowledge of secure coding practices and application security fundamentals.

  • Familiarity withElasticSearch,Valkey, or othercaching/indexing technologies is a plus.

  • Experience designing fullstack interfaces.

  • Strong qualitative and quantitativeproblemsolvingskills.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 74,000 USD - 116,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates.
