Senior Buyer / Purchasing SpecialistRichfield, WI$65,000+ + Outstanding BenefitsEvery Other Friday Off!

Kelly Services is partnering with a growing manufacturer to hire a Buyer/Purchasing Specialist who will play a key role in supporting production, supplier relationships, inventory planning, and cost management.

If you enjoy negotiating with suppliers, managing purchasing activities, solving supply chain challenges, and working closely with manufacturing teams, this could be an excellent opportunity to grow your career with a stable and employee-focused organization.

Schedule

Week 1:

  • Monday – Thursday: 9-hour days
  • Friday: 8-hour day

Week 2:

  • Monday – Thursday: 9-hour days
  • Friday: Off

What You'll Do
  • Manage purchasing activities for production materials and components
  • Issue and track purchase orders through an ERP system
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and quality performance
  • Analyze inventory levels and material requirements
  • Negotiate pricing, lead times, and supplier agreements
  • Identify and qualify new suppliers
  • Resolve supply chain and delivery issues
  • Support production schedules by ensuring material availability
  • Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement
  • Maintain accurate purchasing and vendor records
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, inventory, and production teams
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of purchasing, procurement, supply chain, materials planning, or sourcing experience
  • Manufacturing experience strongly preferred
  • ERP/MRP experience required
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience managing suppliers and purchase orders
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
