As a Mid-Level Procurement Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in our organization's supply chain management. You will be responsible for procuring goods and services essential for our operations while ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery. Your expertise in negotiation, vendor management, and market analysis will contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our procurement process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Planning:
    • Collaborate with department heads and stakeholders to understand procurement needs.
    • Develop procurement plans and strategies aligned with organizational goals and budgetary constraints.
    • Identify potential suppliers and vendors, evaluating their capabilities, reliability, and cost competitiveness.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing agreements.
    • Monitor vendor performance, addressing any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing discrepancies.
    • Conduct regular supplier assessments and audits to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and industry standards.
  • Sourcing and Purchasing:
    • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, pricing fluctuations, and new sourcing opportunities.
    • Source and purchase goods and services according to established procurement procedures and guidelines.
    • Evaluate bids and proposals, selecting suppliers based on factors such as quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
  • Contract Management:
    • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring terms and conditions are favorable to the organization.
    • Monitor contract performance, tracking key milestones, deliverables, and obligations.
    • Identify opportunities for contract optimization, renegotiation, or consolidation to drive cost savings and operational efficiency.
  • Risk Management:
    • Assess and mitigate procurement risks related to supply chain disruptions, price volatility, or geopolitical factors.
