How you create impact

You will coordinate air export shipment activities accurately and on time while meeting customer transit requirements. As part of the Operational Care Center, you will support shipment execution from documentation and bookings through system updates, shipment monitoring, and issue resolution.

In this role, you will:

    • Review shipment details and confirm cargo check-in
    • Prepare, review, and process air export documentation
    • Identify missing or conflicting shipment information and follow up with Customer Care teams or other partners
    • Request bookings and coordinate with gateway teams
    • Link shipments to flights and update systems accurately
    • Support export customs-related processes through AEXUS
    • Prepare house documentation and support pickup coordination
    • Assist with pickup billing and flight requests
    • Review commercial invoices, SLIs, and dangerous goods information for accuracy
    • Monitor shipments, follow up on deviations, and escalate issues as needed
    • Collaborate with gateways, warehouses, customs teams, carriers, vendors, and internal partners
    • Support process improvement, system utilization, cost optimization, and compliance with regulatory, industry, and Kuehne+Nagel standards
What we would like you to bring

We are looking for a collaborative, detail-oriented professional with air export experience and a strong understanding of freight forwarding or logistics operations. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a team environment, asking questions when needed, and managing shipment details accurately in a fast-paced operational setting.

We would like you to bring:

    • 2 to 3 years of air export experience
    • Freight forwarding or logistics experience
    • Familiarity with AEXUS
    • Experience with air export documentation, bookings, flight requests, pickups, and system updates
    • Experience with licensing, CGs, dangerous goods documentation, commercial invoices, and SLIs is helpful
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Clear communication and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners
    • Flexibility for possible weekend coverage as needed
