Job Title: Hospitality Worker I

Location: Carmel, IN 46032

Shift: 6:30 AM – 2:00 PM

Shift Type: Day Shift

Schedule: 4–5 days per week with rotating weekends & holidays

Hours: 37.5 hours per week


Job Summary

The Hospitality Worker I is responsible for providing excellent customer service and support to patients, guests, and visitors in a healthcare environment. The position focuses on ensuring patient and guest satisfaction by assisting with requests, handling reservations, answering questions, and addressing concerns.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication and customer service skills and be comfortable interacting directly with patients. Fluent English communication is required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients, guests, and visitors with their questions, requests, and general needs.
  • Provide friendly, professional, and courteous customer service.
  • Book, manage, and assist with reservations as required.
  • Respond to patient and guest concerns and attempt to resolve issues promptly.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved concerns to the appropriate supervisor or department.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, guests, staff, and other departments.
  • Help ensure a positive patient and guest experience.
  • Follow established hospitality, customer service, and facility procedures.
  • Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude when dealing with patients and guests.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and other departments.
  • Follow healthcare facility policies and safety procedures.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED preferred or as required by the facility.
  • Previous customer service, hospitality, front desk, patient service, or healthcare experience preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with patients and guests.
  • Fluent English-speaking ability is required.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain professional and courteous when handling customer concerns.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including rotating weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
