Job description

The Automotive Lot Attendant verifies the receipt of vehicles delivered to the dealer, compares the serial numbers of incoming cars to the invoice, and inspects vehicles for damage. He or she verifies the accessories as listed on the invoice, assigns stock control numbers to vehicles, and catalogs and stores the vehicle keys. In addition, the Lot Attendant shuttles vehicles following sales to maximize the use of lot space and to keep the lot in order.
The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or GED, an unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record, and can drive both automatic and standard transmission vehicles. Fluent English speaking and written communication skills, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.
