About the Role
The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering fresh floral products and related supplies to customers throughout the Boston, 495 North & South, Route 128 North & South, and/or Rhode Island areas. This position plays a key role in providing dependable service, protecting product quality, and maintaining strong customer relationships while meeting company safety and delivery standards.
What You'll Do
  • Safely operate a 16-foot refrigerated box truck and complete assigned delivery routes accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure fresh flowers and related products are delivered on time and in excellent condition.
  • Provide professional, responsive customer service and build positive relationships with customers.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe delivery vehicle while monitoring equipment for proper operation.
  • Safely load, unload, and handle products using equipment such as pallet jacks, box cutters, and RF scanners.
  • Navigate assigned routes using maps and GPS while managing time effectively to meet delivery expectations.
  • Work safely and efficiently in warehouse and refrigerated environments, including coolers maintained at approximately 34°F.
  • Follow all company policies, safety standards, and applicable DOT requirements.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This role requires the ability to work in warehouse and refrigerated cooler environments, including temperatures of approximately 34°F. The position requires frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing in and out of a delivery truck, loading and unloading products, and driving for extended periods.
The ability to regularly lift and move products weighing up to 60 pounds is required, with or without reasonable accommodation. The role also requires sufficient close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, as well as the ability to adjust focus.

What You'll Bring
  • 2+ years of professional experience driving commercial vehicles, including 16-foot box trucks or larger.
  • Proficiency operating a 16-foot refrigerated box truck.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to obtain and maintain required DOT medical certification; CDL is not required.
  • Acceptable driving record, subject to company review.
  • Ability to safely lift and move products weighing up to 60 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to use maps and GPS for route planning and navigation.
