Fire Alarm Inspector


Fire Alarm Inspector $20-$30/hr - DOE


We are currently hiring a Fire Alarm Inspector with 3+ years of experience is responsible for conducting thorough inspections of various fire alarm systems in a commercial setting. Candidates are encouraged to apply ASAP as we have an immediate need in the Austin area.

Fire Alarm Technician Job:

  • Conduct inspections of fire alarm systems independently to verify proper operation and code compliance
  • Test equipment functionality and perform safety verifications
  • Identify system deficiencies and recommend corrective actions
  • Write detailed inspection reports using commercial software tools
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and test outcomes
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities to ensure adherence to standards
  • Evaluate site conditions to assess fire alarm system integrity
  • Communicate findings and updates effectively with clients

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in fire alarm inspection
  • Certified Fire Alarm Inspector (CFAI)
  • NICET Level II or higher certification in Fire Alarm Systems
  • In-depth knowledge of fire alarm systems and NFPA codes
  • Proficiency in electrical testing and inspection report writing
