Introduction

\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThe State Park Commission (now the Division of Parks and Recreation) began managing the land as Indian River State Park in 1965, but it didn't become Delaware Seashore State Park until 1967. \r\n\r\n\r\nClick here for more information about Delaware Seashore State Park.\r\n

Summary Statement

A seasonal park positions is available at Delaware Seashore State Park, which includes the following: \r\n\r\n\r\n The Revenue Supervisor:($18.77/hr.) - will be responsible for overseeing all revenue aspects. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, seasonal leadership of all fee booth staff, including training, and scheduling. This position will provide administrative support in the office and will report directly to the Administrative Specialist\r\n\r\n\r\nWork is performed indoors and outdoors, weekends, evenings and holidays as scheduled to meet facility needs.\r\n

Essential Functions

Essential functions are fundamental, core functions common to all positions in the class series and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all job duties for any one position in the class. Since class specifications are descriptive and not restrictive, incumbents can complete job duties of similar kinds not specifically listed here. \r\n\r\n\r\n Must demonstrate accuracy in counting daily proceeds and distributing change. \r\n May maintain spreadsheets for budget tracking. \r\n Provide excellent customer service and park information to visitors.\r\n Must be able to demonstrate responsibility, dependability, and good communication skills. \r\n Must be able to work independently. \r\n Completes daily revenue reports. \r\n Other duties as assigned. \r\n\r\n\r\n

Please attach a resume with your online application or use the resume tab in DEL to provide a detailed description of how your education, training and/or experience meets each job requirement including employer, experience/responsibilities and dates (month/year) of employment/training. \r\n\r\n\r\nApplicants for all positions must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas: \r\n\r\n\r\nRevenue Supervisor \r\n1.\tOne year experience in interpreting rules, regulations, policies and procedures. \r\n2.\tOne year experience in office operations and functions such as operating office machines, handling incoming and outgoing mail, answering phones, directing calls and taking messages; file maintenance; maintaining and updating supplies. \r\n3.\tOne year experience in cash handling, writing receipts. \r\n4.\tOne year experience using Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel, and Publisher. \r\n5. Possession of a valid driver's license (not suspended, revoked or cancelled, or disqualified from driving.\r\n
