Some roles may also include helping with farm markets, customer interactions, or specialized tasks depending on the type of farm.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Weekend Farm position, and why are they important?

To thrive in a Weekend Farm position, you need hands-on experience in basic agricultural tasks such as planting, animal care, equipment operation, and general farm maintenance. Basic familiarity with farm tools, small machinery, and possibly certifications in pesticide application or livestock handling are often assets.
