Job description

As a farm Worker, you are responsible for assisting in aquaculture farm team supporting efforts to optimize production and maintain a clean and safe work environment. This position involves harvesting, infrastructure maintenance, farm organization, and equipment operation and is ideal for someone who has physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in various environmental conditions. You will assist with providing support in growing and feeding fish and providing support in various farm projects.
  • Perform general fish husbandry tasks such as counting, harvesting, and taking inventory.
  • Perform general labor tasks as assigned.
  • Assist with farm organization and clean-up as directed.
  • Assist with building projects as assigned.
  • Enter data into the company computer database as directed.
  • Operate various farm equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, and farm boats.
  • Maintain farm safety at all times; comply with company health and safety guidelines.
  • Ensure proper use of all company machinery, tools, and equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to company health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. 
  • Keep accurate records of activities and fill out necessary paperwork. 
  • Handle various types of farm equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and harvesting equipment safely and efficiently. 
  • Help with organizing the farm area and cleaning up as needed. 
  • Be able to work safely and efficiently even in adverse weather conditions and on the water. 

Required:
  • Minimum of six months related experience in the construction, manufacturing, farming, or related industry.
  • Experience with the safe operation of forklifts and powered pallet jacks.
Preferred:
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Prior boat operator experience and license.

Working Conditions:
The working environment characteristics described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is exposed to:
         Traditional warehouse and distribution facility environment
         Large, specialized equipment

         Exposure to cold/freezing temperatures
