Overview

DEPARTMENT:   Camp SWONEKY  - Oregonia, OH        

REPORTS TO:  Camp Facilities Manager         

SUPERVISES:  N/A                                                                

STATUS:  Non Exempt Part Time Temporary                                                

FUNCTION: To feed and care for animals on weekends, holidays and staff vacations as requested.    

Responsibilities

DUTIES

  • Feed and care animals on weekends and holidays as well as staff vacation days as requested.
  • Communicate with Facilities Manager of any issues or emergencies as it relates to animals.
  • Performs work in accordance with sound safety practices
  • Perform routine safety inspections.
  • Represent The Salvation Army in a manner that brings glory to God.
  • Assist in every way requested to carry out the spiritual and total mission of The Southwest Ohio & Northeast
  • All other duties assigned.
Qualifications
  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Desire to work a hands-on job with a variety of animals
  • Ability to do physical labor, lifting occasionally up to 50 pounds
