Quality Staffing, Inc., a leading full-service employment agency matching qualified talent with some of the area's top companies, is looking for Extrusion Operators to work with our client in Chatsworth, GA. The pay range for will be $15.00-$15.50 per hour.

Resumen de Funciones
El Operador de Extrusin apoya la produccin de fibra mediante la operacin y supervisin de equipos de extrusin para garantizar la calidad, la seguridad y la continuidad del proceso. Este puesto rota entre las operaciones de Capstn y Secadores y es responsable de identificar y comunicar oportunamente cualquier problema que pueda afectar la produccin o la calidad del producto.

Obligaciones y Responsabilidades Esenciales)
Seccin de Capstn
  • Monitoree la fibra cada 20 minutos para detectar goteos y presencia de plstico duro, e informe de inmediato cualquier problema o anomala al supervisor.
  • Verifique que no haya desbordamiento de agua en los rodillos de hilado y asegrese de que el hilo mantenga contacto continuo con el rodillo.
  • Vace el agua de todos los recipientes vacos en el bastidor de bobinas.
  • Inspeccione el enrollado del hilo en el rodillo de arrastre y la rueda dentada; informe de inmediato cualquier problema y no intente realizar ajustes.
  • Utilice el aspirador para facilitar el enhebrado de la lnea de forma segura y eficiente cuando se detenga la produccin, siguiendo los procedimientos establecidos.
  • Comunique inmediatamente al supervisor y al personal afectado que la lnea est detenida.
  • Observe continuamente la lnea durante el funcionamiento e informe de inmediato cualquier problema de calidad, ruidos inusuales, cambios de color o problemas con el equipo.
  • Ajuste la sincronizacin de la mquina de bobinado solo cuando lo solicite el operador del bastidor de bobinas o el supervisor.
  • Complete las hojas de trabajo con precisin al final de cada turno.
  • Mantenga la limpieza alrededor de las mquinas, las reas de trabajo y los pisos.
Realice otras tareas segn se le asignen.

Seccin de Secadores
  • Verificar las temperaturas y el estado de funcionamiento de los secadores al inicio de cada turno.
  • Comunicarse con el operador del turno anterior sobre cualquier problema con los secadores o la produccin.
  • Revisar los contenedores de las lneas de produccin y verificar la documentacin antes del vaciado.
  • Vaciar los secadores segn sea necesario y confirmar el vaciado completo en los contenedores secos.
  • Verificar las cantidades de qumicos segn la documentacin; pesar y preparar bolsas cuando sea necesario.
  • Agregar qumicos 15 minutos antes del vaciado y documentar correctamente.
  • Asegurar que los materiales se hayan secado durante un mnimo de dos horas antes del vaciado.
  • Llenar nuevamente los secadores y registrar los tiempos requeridos.
  • Preparar y mantener las mallas para cambios.
  • Supervisar las extrusoras y reportar problemas de temperatura, amperaje o funcionamiento.
  • Informar de inmediato cualquier problema al operador lder o supervisor.
Otras funciones segn se asignen.

Funcin Adicional Designada: Operaciones de Mezcla
  • Operar un montacargas para transportar materias primas preparadas a los contenedores o tolvas de mezcla designados.
  • Verificar que las materias primas correctas se carguen en los contenedores adecuados segn los requisitos de produccin.
  • Cargar materias primas de manera segura y precisa para apoyar las operaciones de extrusin.
  • Limpiar de inmediato cualquier derrame de materias primas para mantener un entorno de trabajo seguro y ordenado.
  • Cumplir con todos los procedimientos de manejo de materiales, seguridad de montacargas y produccin.
  • Informar de inmediato cualquier problema de materiales, equipos o inventario al supervisor.

Calificaciones y Requisitos
Requerido:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in hot and cold environments with exposure to dust and high noise levels
  • Ability to ascend and descend stairs occasionally
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions involving hands, wrists, and arms
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and respond quickly when needed
  • Ability to safely handle objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Basic arithmetic skills

Preferido:
  • Prior manufacturing or extrusion experience
  • Forklift experience or certification (for Mix Operations)
  • Mechanical or technical aptitude

Entorno de Trabajo y Demandas Físicas
