Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides custodial services for weekend events across the district. 
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Clean conference rooms, classrooms, the lunchroom, stairways, and corridors in an acceptable manner including, but not limited to, sweeping, vacuuming, dry/wet mopping, scrubbing, and waxing floors/carpets; dusting; straightening/setting-up furniture; washing tables/desks and blackboards; and emptying trash bins and pencil sharpeners.Clean restrooms, which includes sinks and toilets, and refill paper towel dispenser, toilet paper dispenser, and feminine vending machine.  Maintain the outside grounds including, but not limited to, mowing the grass, removal of snow and ice.  Perform minor maintenance such as changing light bulbs, replacing ceiling tiles, cleaning/replacing filters. Report major repairs to the Director in a prompt manner.   Maintain all custodial storage areas.  Request supplies and custodial equipment needed in the performance of custodial duties
including kitchen supplies, janitorial supplies, and coffee and condiments.  Perform other duties as assigned.
