Job description

The Peel Compton Foundation is hiring for an Event Attendant to join our team! This is an excellent opportunity for an outgoing/customer service oriented individual who is looking for a flexible part-time position in Bentonville.
Summary: The Event Attendant has a passion for outstanding customer service. This role handles direct guest services at PCF event facilities. The role must be committed to treating every guest who attends a PCF event with the utmost respect and care. The majority of events take place during the evenings and/or weekends.
Events take place at all the Peel Compton Foundation's unique properties:
  • The Peel Mansion Museum & Botanical Garden
  • Compton Gardens & Arboretum
  • Coler Mountain Bike Preserve
  • Osage Park

Job Description:
  • Welcomes and acknowledges all guests according to company standards
  • Provides excellent guest service for various events and programs, responding to guest and staff inquiries in a prompt, effective, and courteous manner
  • Supports the success of events by helping guests safely enjoy their experience
  • Directs guests to proper location with clear instructions
  • Anticipates and addresses guests' service needs
  • Assists staff during various program activities and special events offered by PCF
  • Reports accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to Rental Coordinator
  • Develops and maintains positive working relationships with others; supports team to reach common goals
  • Attends in-service training and additional staff training as necessary
  • Enforces facility policies, rules and regulations as necessary
  • Assists in emergency protocol as required in training
  • Performs other duties as assigned
