Job description

We are seeking a motivated, energetic, and customer-focused Automotive Sales Representative to join our growing sales team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about vehicles and driven to succeed in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

As an Automotive Sales Representative, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while guiding clients through every step of the vehicle purchasing process. You will be responsible for generating leads, building lasting customer relationships, and consistently achieving or exceeding sales goals. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator with strong negotiation skills and a solid understanding of automotive sales practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and provide a welcoming, consultative sales experience from initial contact through delivery.
  • Assist customers in selecting vehicles that fit their needs by explaining features, specifications, and financing options.
  • Conduct engaging vehicle presentations and test drives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Proactively follow up with leads via phone, email, and digital communication tools.
  • Collaborate with team members and participate in dealership promotions and events.
  • Stay informed on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
  • Prepare accurate pricing quotes, negotiate terms, and finalize sales transactions.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records in CRM systems.
  • Adhere to all dealership policies, procedures, and ethical sales standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Previous automotive sales experience or a proven sales track record is a plus.
  • Strong interest in vehicles and knowledge of automotive brands and features.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to exceeding expectations.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and digital sales tools.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and Saturdays as needed.
