Job description

Position Overview

Support our healthcare partners and help them thrive at Meduit. We are seeking a hands-on Cybersecurity Analyst to strengthen our security posture. In this role, you will work with tools such as Rapid7 InsightVM/IDR and Microsoft Defender for Office 365 and Endpoint to identify, investigate, and remediate security risks. Strong Azure security knowledge is essential. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and respond to alerts from vulnerability scanning, endpoint security, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and intrusion detection and response (IDR) tools
  • Monitor and manage identity security, MFA, and Conditional Access within Azure/Entra ID
  • Document security investigations, findings, and remediation actions
  • Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to resolve security issues and improve security controls
Essential Skills
  • Strong knowledge of Azure security, identity protection, and endpoint security
  • Hands-on experience with Rapid7 and Microsoft security tools, including:
    • Microsoft Defender for Office 365
    • Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
    • Microsoft Purview
  • Ability to analyze alerts, investigate incidents, and recommend security improvements
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
Required Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or a related technical field; bachelor’s degrees in other disciplines with demonstrated relevant professional experience may also be considered
  • 2 to 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity or SOC operations
  • Experience with the following tools and platforms:
    • Microsoft Defender for Office 365
    • Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
    • Rapid7 InsightVM / IDR
    • Microsoft Purview (DLP, OME)
Preferred Qualifications 
  • Industry certifications, such as:
    • Microsoft: SC-900, SC-200, SC-300, SC-400, AZ-500
    • CompTIA: Security+ or CySA+
    • EC-Council: Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

  • Salary: $80,000 to $95,000 depending on skills and qualifications 
  • Location: Remote 
  • Anticipated start date: 5/25/2026
