Job description

About Us:
Meduit is a national leader in healthcare revenue cycle management, supporting hospitals and physician practices in 48 states. We focus on helping patients understand their medical bills so providers can focus on patient care.
About the Role:
Support our healthcare partners and help them thrive at Meduit. As a Patient Account Representative, you will speak directly with patients to help them understand and resolve their medical bills.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume call center environment, can manage multiple systems at once, and takes pride in accuracy, consistency, and clear communication.
Start Date: 07/13/2026
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM CST
Location: Onsite - 5045 Franklin Ave Waco, TX 76710
Paid Training: 3 weeks
Compensation: $15 - $17 per hour base + performance incentives
Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls regarding patient account balances
  • Explain billing and payment options clearly and professionally
  • Set up payment plans and process payments over the phone
  • Accurately document all interactions while navigating multiple systems
  • Follow established workflows, scripts, and compliance requirements
  • Meet performance goals related to productivity and quality
  • Assist patients in identifying financial assistance options when applicable
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1 year of previous call center experience
  • Proficiency with PC-based applications (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with billing, payments, claims, or account resolution processes
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA, Medicaid, Medicare, Insurance, or FDCPA
  • Experience handling escalated customer interactions
  • Experience consistently meeting or exceeding performance metrics
