💰 Salary: $82,950.40 – $128,564.80/year

🔹 Position Overview

The Patient Financial Services AR Manager will lead insurance Accounts Receivable operations, ensuring efficient billing, account follow-up, collections, reconciliation, regulatory compliance, and overall revenue cycle performance.

This role will collaborate closely with Revenue Cycle, Employed Physician Practices, payers, vendors, and other key departments to drive financial performance and continuous improvement.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

✅ Lead and supervise Patient Financial Services AR staff

✅ Manage insurance AR across Epic HB and PB modules

✅ Monitor billing, collections, productivity, quality, and reimbursement performance

✅ Analyze denial trends and develop corrective action plans

✅ Oversee insurance credit balances and account resolution

✅ Develop and maintain financial and operational reports

✅ Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payers, and applicable regulations

✅ Support staff training, performance evaluations, and employee engagement

✅ Monitor vendor performance and payer issues

✅ Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams on process improvements

✅ Maintain applicable Epic ARCR certifications

🔹 Required Qualifications

🎓 bachelor’s degree in business preferred/required, OR equivalent experience based on the stated requirements.

💼 Minimum 5 years of experience in patient accounting, third-party reimbursement, or a related field, including at least 3 years in a supervisory/leadership role.

⭐ Preferred:

• 7+ years of relevant experience
• 5+ years of leadership experience
• Certified Patient Account Manager (CPAM)
• Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR)
• Epic ARCR experience/certification
