Job description

Hourly Pay Range:

$18.38 - $26.65 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Patient Service Representative - Ortho

  • Location: Kildeer, IL

  • Full Time: 40 hours/weekly

  • Hours: Varies Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM. Typically 8-9 hour shifts. Includes rotating weekends and locations

  • Required Travel: For coverage purposes to our Arlington Heights offices.

What you will do:

  • Answer all incoming telephone calls from patients, physicians, and other departments and handle each as appropriate in accordance with NorthShore telephone customer service standards and practice protocols including documenting in Epic telephone encounters

  • Utilize Epic to schedule and register all new, established, and post-procedure patients in accordance with patient and physician preferences, physician availability, and practice protocols

  • Obtain prior authorization for procedures

  • Review provider templates

  • Provide other administrative support under the direction of the Physicians and Practice Manager

What you will need:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience

  • 1 year experience in anadministrative/customerservice position

Preferred:

  • EPIC knowledge and experience highly preferred.
