  • Effectuer des inspections environnementales régulières sur le chantier
  • S’assurer du respect des exigences des certificats d’autorisation et des permis.
  • Vérifier la mise en place et l’efficacité des mesures de mitigation (contrôle de l’érosion et des sédiments, protection des milieux hydriques, gestion des eaux, etc.).
  • Surveiller les travaux en milieux sensibles (cours d’eau, milieux humides, habitats fauniques).
  • Assurer la conformité aux exigences du MELCCFP et autres autorités réglementaires.
  • Documenter les inspections, rédiger des rapports journaliers et signaler les non-conformités.
  • Recommander et suivre la mise en œuvre des mesures correctives.
  • Participer aux réunions de chantier et conseiller les équipes sur les bonnes pratiques environnementales.
  • Assurer le suivi de la gestion des matières résiduelles, des sols contaminés et des hydrocarbures.
  • Intervenir en cas d’incident environnemental (déversement, non-conformité majeure) et coordonner les actions requises.
  • Maintenir une traçabilité complète des activités environnementales du projet.
 
  • Conduct regular environmental inspections on the construction site.
  • Ensure compliance with the requirements of authorization certificates and permits.
  • Verify the implementation and effectiveness of mitigation measures (erosion and sediment control, protection of water bodies, water management, etc.).
  • Monitor construction activities in sensitive environments (watercourses, wetlands, wildlife habitats).
  • Ensure compliance with the requirements of the MELCCFP and other regulatory authorities.
  • Document inspections, prepare daily reports, and report any non-compliance.
  • Recommend and follow up on the implementation of corrective measures.
  • Participate in site meetings and advise teams on environmental best practices.
  • Monitor the management of residual materials, contaminated soils, and hydrocarbons.
  • Respond to environmental incidents (spills, major non-compliance) and coordinate required actions.
  • Maintain full traceability of all environmental activities related to the project.

  • Diplôme d’études collégiales (DEC) ou universitaire en environnement, génie civil, biologie ou domaine connexe.
  • Minimum de 2 à 5 ans d’expérience en surveillance environnementale de chantier.
  • Bonne connaissance de la réglementation environnementale québécoise.
  • Expérience en projets d’infrastructures (routes, ponts, ouvrages hydrauliques, réseaux municipaux).
  • Expérience avec des exigences du Pêches et Océans Canada (habitat du poisson).
  • Connaissance des normes du Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable.
  • Certification en Envision.
  • Expérience en gestion de sols contaminés.
  • Carte ASP Construction valide.
  • Permis de conduire valide.
  • Excellente maîtrise du français (oral et écrit).
  • Jugement terrain et capacité à intervenir rapidement.
  • Autonomie et proactivité.
  • Excellentes aptitudes en communication et pédagogie (capacité à influencer les équipes chantier).
  • Capacité à travailler dans des conditions de chantier variables.
  • Travail principalement sur chantier (extérieur, conditions variables).
  • Horaire pouvant être variable selon les travaux.
 
  • College diploma (DEC) or university degree in environmental studies, civil engineering, biology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in environmental monitoring on construction sites.
  • Strong knowledge of Québec environmental regulations.
  • Experience on infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, hydraulic structures, munici
  • pal networks).
  • Experience with Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) requirements related to fish habitat (asset).
  • Knowledge of Ministry of Transportation and Sustainable Mobility standards (asset).
  • Envision certification (asset).
  • Experience in contaminated soil management (asset).
  • Valid ASP Construction safety card.
  • Valid driver’s license 
  • Strong field judgment and ability to respond quickly.
  • High level of autonomy and proactivity.
  • Excellent communication and teaching skills (ability to influence on-site construction teams).
  • Ability to work in varying construction site conditions.
  • Primarily field-based work on construction sites (outdoors, variable conditions).
  • Frequent travel depending on project needs.
  • Work schedule may vary depending on construction activities.
