Building strong relationships with both weekend and weekday colleagues can also facilitate smoother project handoffs and ensure continuity.

Weekend environmental scientists are professionals who conduct environmental research, monitoring, or assessments specifically during weekends. They may work for government agencies, consulting firms, or nonprofit organizations, helping collect data on air, water, soil, and wildlife.
