Job description

This Opportunity 

WSP is currently initiating a search for an Environmental Engineer for our Columbia, MD office.

Be involved on projects in Baltimore with our Construction Management Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges. 

Your Impact 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct environmental assessments and site investigations.
  • Develop and implement environmental management plans.
  • Prepare technical reports, permit applications, and regulatory documentation.
  • Monitor compliance with environmental laws and company policies.
  • Design and evaluate pollution prevention and waste management systems.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Analyze environmental data and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support sustainability and environmental improvement initiatives.

Who You Are

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related engineering field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
  • At least 1 year of environmental engineering experience
  • Knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and state environmental regulations.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and environmental modeling or GIS software is a plus. #LI-JR1

Compensation:

Expected Salary (all locations): $68,200-85,300
