We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to support the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and continuous improvement of automated manufacturing equipment in a high-volume production environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PLC programming, robotics, servo motion systems, industrial controls, and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to support production while participating in equipment installations, process improvements, and new facility startup activities.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing automation, or equipment installation and commissioning.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience programming, modifying, and troubleshooting PLC systems.
- Experience with servo motion controllers and motion control applications.
- Experience troubleshooting relay logic, industrial wiring, and electrical control systems.
- Experience programming and troubleshooting industrial robots.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including schematic interpretation and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, holidays, and plant shutdowns.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%.
