Staff in these roles follow strict protocols to ensure that endoscopes are safe for patient use, preventing infections and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. This position is essential for maintaining the availability of properly sanitized equipment for procedures scheduled on weekends. It typically requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and sometimes certification or previous experience in medical device reprocessing.
