Registered Nurse - Endoscopy

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) โ€“ Endoscopy for a 13-week assignment working Day Shift | 5x8s with varying schedules between 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM depending on department needs. The RN will provide specialized nursing care within the Endoscopy department, assisting with pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure patient care while collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Candidates must be comfortable with weekday and rotating weekend call responsibilities, including potential holiday call coverage. Responsibilities include patient assessments, sedation monitoring, procedural assistance, recovery care, patient education, medication administration, EMR documentation, and maintaining high-quality patient safety standards throughout endoscopic procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 18 months of permanent Endoscopy RN experience prior to travel required
  • Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License required
  • ACLS Certification required
  • BLS Certification required
  • Must be willing to take 1-2 weekday call shifts per week after scheduled shift until 7:00 AM
  • Must be willing to rotate 1-2 weekend call shifts every 6 weeks (24-hour Saturday/Sunday call)
  • Must maintain 1-hour response time for call coverage
  • Potential Labor Day call coverage required
  • Strong procedural sedation and recovery care experience preferred
  • Epic/EMR experience preferred
