The Petting Zoo, located in Savage Maryland, is seeking an experienced Embroidery Machine Operator with the desire, knowledge of Embroidery processes and equipment. Not Experienced, we will train you. We operate Monday-Friday 6am - 5pm , flexible full and Part-time time work available. Saturday work and Overtime also available.

The Petting Zoo is a Plush Toy Animal company founded 25 years ago. Our employees work together to create the newest, trend-forward designs in an ever expanding collection of plush, hoodies and more. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • · Ensure QUALITY meets company standards and customer expectations
  • · Organized and committed team player interacting with other departments as business needs dictate
  • · Ability to determine priorities, meet deadlines and reset both per business needs
  • · Follow work orders, hoop garments, load and operate machines, trim finished products, inspect quality, and pack orders
  • · Orderliness and cleanliness of department

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • · Experience on 8 head and single head embroidery machines is helpful. If not experienced?, we will train you!
  • · Experience with Heat Press machines is helpful
