Job description

Job Title: Machine Operator

Operate and set up manual machining equipment to manufacture steel products in a high-volume production environment. Use precision measuring tools, perform basic machine maintenance, and cross-train on multiple manual machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate lathes and other manual machines including drill presses, punch presses, broaches, and brake presses.
  • Measure parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools.
  • Record measurements and production data for quality control.
  • Perform light machine maintenance and apply coolant as needed.
  • Use overhead cranes to move materials safely.
  • Follow blueprints, work instructions, and safety procedures.
  • Support production goals while maintaining quality standards.

Pay and Benefits
