Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laser Machine Operator to set up, operate, and maintain CNC laser cutting equipment in a fast-paced sheet metal manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, operating fabrication equipment, maintaining quality standards, and following all safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines for sheet metal production
  • Load and unload raw materials and finished parts safely and efficiently
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules
  • Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate cuts and optimal production output
  • Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
  • Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor operational issues
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on laser equipment
  • Maintain production records and quality documentation
  • Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards
  • Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 1–3 years of laser machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience with CNC laser equipment and sheet metal fabrication
