Location: Omaha, NE | Payrate: $18 - $20.16/hour | Schedule: 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift available
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global leader in financial solutions to find dependable Machine Operators to support plastics manufacturing operations.
As a Production Operator, you'll play an essential role in keeping production running efficiently while ensuring materials, equipment, and finished products meet safety and quality standards. Your work will directly contribute to daily production goals and consistent product quality.
What You'll Do
  • Operate manufacturing equipment while following work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards.
  • Load, unload, sort, stage, and move raw materials, components, and finished products.
  • Inspect plastic parts for dimensions, defects, quality, and specification requirements.
  • Monitor equipment and report basic process or equipment concerns.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow proper procedures for material handling, storage, and disposal.
  • Meet assigned productivity and production targets.
  • Adapt to changing production priorities and schedules.

What You Bring
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, relevant experience, and/or military experience.
  • Ability to use basic computer systems to enter, review, or track production and quality information.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and productivity.
  • Ability to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Ability to frequently stand, bend, squat, kneel, twist, push, climb, and lift/carry materials up to 50 pounds , including lifting above shoulder level.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ year of experience operating production machinery.
  • Experience performing routine maintenance.
  • Experience with warehouse staging and inventory systems, including handheld barcode scanners or basic WMS.
  • OSHA-10 or equivalent safety training.
  • Previous manufacturing experience.

Schedule & Compensation
  • Shift differential pay may be available for second shift, third shift, and weekend day schedules.
  • Overtime opportunities may include weekends and holidays.
  • Physically active role requiring the ability to safely handle materials throughout the shift.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.16 per hour
