Job description

Description:

The TSUBAKI name is synonymous with excellence in quality, dependability and customer service. U.S. Tsubaki Automotive, LLC is an international tier-one supplier of high-speed chain drive systems to the automotive industry.  

The Electrician II, will be responsible for planning and performing all electrical work associated with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production machinery, facility electrical equipment (panelboards, transformers, lighting, etc.), and general wiring located throughout the facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description – other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.

  • Utilize PLC software for the purposes of troubleshooting manufacturing machinery
  • Perform facility and manufacturing machinery preventive maintenance (PM) activities
  • Identify and recommend energy-saving initiatives
  • Identify and recommend safety, PM, and process improvements
  • Install and maintain network wiring
  • Working safely following all safety regulations, including but not limited to NFPA70E Standard For Electrical Safety In The Workplace and the MA Electrical Code 
  • Ensuring all work conforms to MA Electrical Code and is completed in a neat and workmanlike manner
  • Working closely with production personnel, engineering, mechanics, and contractors to complete assigned tasks or projects
  • Utilize maintenance management system to monitor electrical maintenance requests and document all work completed
  • Working on ladders or lifts as required
  • Use of various testing instruments to identify issues on power and control circuits or devices

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered
  • 5+ years of Industrial experience
  • MA Licensed Electrician – Class B (Journeyman) or Class A (Master)
  • Ability to interpret electrical and technical diagrams and documents 
  • Ability to utilize various types of electrical testing instruments (power/control/calibration)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Highly customer service focused 
  • The ability to communicate and work collaboratively with all levels of the organization 
  • Microsoft Office experience with emphasis on Outlook
  • General Computer Skills required 
  • Ability to use the CMM system to document maintenance service requests
