Job description

Hire Direct is actively interviewing skilled and motivated Maintenance Technicians with Tetra Pak equipment experience to join a well-established, rapidly growing company in Ogden, Utah. In this role, you'll be part of a highly automated facility, performing daily equipment checks and maintaining machinery such as conveyors, palletizers, wrappers, labelers, and fillers. We're looking for self-driven individuals who thrive in a team environment and bring a strong technical aptitude to the table.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily equipment inspections to identify and address maintenance needs.

  • Service, repair, and troubleshoot a wide range of machinery including:

    • Conveyors, palletizers, wrappers, fillers, depalletizers, and labelers.

    • Tetra Pak equipment (experience required).

  • Support equipment installation, startup, and shutdown following safety and OSHA protocols.

  • Handle logistics tasks such as receiving, prepping, and loading goods.

  • Execute production line duties with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

  • Maintain and repair PLC, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

  • Collaborate with operators to resolve equipment issues quickly.

  • Mentor and support team development through knowledge sharing and training.

  • Adhere to all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

What We're Looking For:
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Tetra Pak equipment.

  • Willingness to relocate to Ogden, Utah.

  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

  • Proficiency with electromechanical systems (sensors, drives, HMI, etc.).

  • Comfortable working with industrial electricity up to 480 VACS.

  • Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and locate parts.

  • Physically able to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Quick learner with a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.
