Maintenance Technician

Rewarding DIRECT HIRE opportunities for a stable and reputable production company in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. We’re seeking career-minded, experienced Maintenance Technicians with a passion for troubleshooting, repairing, and strong electrical knowledge. The ideal candidates must have at least one year of experience in a Manufacturing environment, positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Work Schedule:

  • 2nd Shift – Start time 12pm – 3pm / until finished. (Typically work 10-hour shift)
  • 6 days on 2 days off

Must have previous experience:

  • Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment.
  • Performing preventative maintenance functions as directed.
  • Working with 480V, 3 phase motors, and PLC components.
  • Starting up and shutting down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures.
  • Advising operators and line mechanics of operation procedures and requirements for working safely with electrical and mechanical equipment and components.
  • Maintaining company-required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment.
  • Utilizing electrical/electronic components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes.

Experience:

  • 1 year of proven experience in the electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic fields required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Positive attitude, career-driven, strong mechanical ability, good communication, and ability to clearly define day-to-day responsibilities and troubleshooting processes with machinery and equipment.
  • Food Production/Manufacturing background preferred.
  • Maintenance team of 20-30 with 5–10-year tenure
  • Report to Maintenance Superintendent/Supervisor
