We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Mechanic to support the maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of CNC machining equipment and related manufacturing systems. The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for minimizing downtime, maximizing equipment reliability, and ensuring production equipment operates safely and efficiently in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. This position requires strong mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting skills, along with experience maintaining CNC machining centers, automation equipment, conveyors, and auxiliary production systems.
This role will be working the weekend shift schedule, which is Friday-Sunday working 12 hour days. You will train on our day shift before moving to the weekend shift. The weekend shift qualifies for a premium shift pay on top of your hourly wage
Key ResponsibilitiesHigh school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in automotive manufacturing.
Experience maintaining CNC machining centers such as Mazak, Okuma, Haas, Makino, Fanuc, Mori Seiki, or similar equipment.
Strong knowledge of:- Mechanical systems
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
Basic PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc, or equivalent).
Proficiency using precision measuring instruments and diagnostic tools.
Familiarity with CMMS software and preventive maintenance programs.
