Job description

About Wonderschool

Wonderschool is a marketplace connecting families with high-quality early childhood education providers. We help educators launch and grow childcare programs, and we help parents find the right care for their kids. We are hiring a marketing leader to own growth on both sides of that marketplace.

The Role

You will own acquisition for both sides of our marketplace: parents and providers. On the parent side, that means performance marketing, conversion optimization, and AI-powered personalization. On the provider side, it means grassroots recruiting: weekend events, community outreach, and social campaigns that get educators excited to join. This is a hands-on role for someone who can run a Saturday morning event for moms and then go deep on funnel analytics Monday morning.

What You'll Do

Parent growth

  • Own the parent acquisition funnel: paid ads, landing pages, and on-platform conversion. You will be moving things around on the website constantly to improve conversion rates.
  • Use AI tools to personalize and scale the parent experience, from ad creative to lifecycle messaging.
  • Understand the demographics of the families we serve and tailor messaging by community, income level, and geography.

Provider growth

  • Plan and run weekend events that reach moms, teachers, and aspiring childcare providers.
  • Recruit teachers and educators onto the platform through events, social ads, and community partnerships.
  • Build repeatable systems for provider recruiting and onboarding so it scales beyond one-off pushes.

Systems and measurement

  • Build the systems, playbooks, and measurement infrastructure for growth, not just campaigns.
  • Own the numbers: CAC, conversion rates, payback, and unit economics across both sides of the marketplace.
  • Work closely with product and engineering on the website and funnel.

Who You Are

  • Deeply analytical. You are comfortable with finance concepts and can model CAC, LTV, and payback without help.
  • Technically fluent. You understand enough computer science to work well with engineers and reason about how the platform drives conversion.
  • Genuinely good with people. You can run an event for moms on a Saturday and enjoy it.
  • Strong on social media, both paid and organic, with a track record of campaigns that drove real acquisition.
  • Demographically savvy: you know how to adapt messaging across very different communities.
  • A systems builder. You would rather build a machine than run the same play twice by hand.
  • Hands-on with AI tools and excited to apply them to marketing and the parent experience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience at a two-sided marketplace.
  • Early childhood education, childcare, or edtech familiarity.
  • Experience recruiting educators or similar supply-side audiences.
