Job description

Mechanical Reliability Millwright Technician

Direct Hire in Woodville, TX. Start immediately. Up to $44/hr DOE. Comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire, plus weekly pay through Integrity Trade Services.

What you will do
  • Own installation, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, rebuild, modification, and maintenance of equipment such as pellet mills, hammermills, conveyors and drag conveyors, bucket elevators, augers, screw conveyors, rotary valves, gearboxes, pumps, fans, blowers, shafts, bearings, couplings, and material handling systems.
  • Diagnose and correct issues in mechanical power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication systems.
  • Execute structural and precision welding and oxy-fuel cutting for equipment and infrastructure repair or fabrication.
  • Fabricate replacement parts, guards, brackets, piping, platforms, and structural elements to support continuous improvement.
  • Install, align, rebuild, and commission machinery and production lines, validating mechanical performance.
  • Use laser alignment and precision measuring tools to achieve exacting tolerances.
  • Lead or assist with root cause failure analysis to bolster reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Assist with basic industrial electrical diagnostics for motors, motor controls, sensors, instrumentation, and automation; coordinate with electricians as required.
  • Execute preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance.
  • Interpret mechanical and fabrication drawings, blueprints, equipment manuals, P&IDs, and basic electrical schematics.
  • Operate welding/fabrication tools, forklifts, aerial lifts, rigging equipment, overhead cranes, precision measuring devices, and diagnostic equipment safely.
  • Support scheduled outages, shutdowns, and capital projects; help plan and deliver results.
  • Recommend design or process changes that improve safety, reliability, efficiency, and maintainability.
  • Document PMs, work orders, repairs, and equipment history in the CMMS accurately.
  • Coordinate priorities with Operations, Engineering, Production, Electrical, and Maintenance teams.
  • Coach and guide less experienced technicians; champion safe, high-quality work.
  • Maintain orderly work areas and strong housekeeping.
  • Adhere to LOTO, confined space, hot work, fall protection, respiratory protection, and all relevant safety procedures.
  • Model accountability, professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement; perform other duties as needed.
Schedule and location

Woodville, TX. Must be open to 12-hour shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays as demand requires.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in Industrial Maintenance, Millwright, Mechanical Technology, or Welding preferred.
  • At least 7 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing, processing, or heavy industry.
  • Advanced mechanical maintenance, welding/fabrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, and equipment installation experience.
  • Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems with ability to safely troubleshoot basics.
  • Proficiency with welding, fabrication, rigging, and precision alignment equipment.
  • Skilled in reading mechanical and fabrication drawings, P&IDs, blueprints, and manuals.
  • CMMS familiarity preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting, diagnostics, welding and fabrication; deep knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis; able to prioritize in a continuous manufacturing environment.
  • Leadership, mentoring, and communication strengths; independent yet highly collaborative.
  • Demonstrated dedication to safety, quality work, and equipment reliability.
Physical and environmental demands

Heavy industrial setting with dust, noise, vibration, heat, moving machinery, and changing weather. Frequent standing, walking, ladder climbing, kneeling, crouching, reaching; lift up to 50 lbs; work at heights and in confined spaces. PPE required. Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, overtime, and respond to emergency callouts as needed.
