Job description

Pay: $20.50 + $1.50 Shift Differential

Position Summary

The Distribution Center Sanitation Team Members perform deep cleaning activities for the building and grounds to maintain sanitization standards. Safe operation in accordance with Company policies is of prime importance.

Essential Functions

  • Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company and regulatory authorities.
  • Performs routine and non-routine cleaning duties throughout the building to include all surfaces inside and outside of the distribution center
  • Removal of trash, cardboard, debris and pallets.
  • Will perform cleaning activities that require the use of ladders, powered equipment at high levels.
  • Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs to building and/or equipment.
  • Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures Must be willing to moves cabinet, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas, either manually or by using hand trucks.
  • Maintain building 5S boards
  • Requisitions and replenishes supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and sanitization duties.
  • Operate floor scrubbing equipment, cardboard baler and maintain all stations containing janitorial equipment.
  • Must have stock picker experience
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Shift: Friday-Sunday 5am-5:30pm
